What does nourishment mean to you? Beyond the food on your plate, how do you nourish your body? How do you care for your mind, your heart, your spirit, your relationships?

At its core, nourishment is taking in what helps us grow and thrive. It’s more than consumption—it’s connection, replenishment, and renewal.

Pause for a moment and reflect: What truly nourishes you?

For some, nourishment looks like sipping coffee on a cool morning, swaying gently in a hammock. For others, it may be walking through nature, unplugging from the noise of daily life, and reconnecting with the beauty that surrounds us. Some find it in music, the sound of waves crashing on the shore, or simply in stillness. And for some who are still searching, I encourage you to close your eyes, deepen your breath, and let it come to you.

Nourishment doesn’t wear just one face—it’s deeply personal, unique to each of us. Yet, in the busyness of “doing all the things,” we often drift away from the practices, spaces, and people that help us feel whole.

When trees enter their dormant season, they release their leaves while quietly nourishing their roots beneath the surface—preparing for the vibrant return of spring. As fall settles in, let it serve as a reminder of the beauty in letting go. Perhaps this is also our invitation to return to life’s simplest things, allowing the weight of complexity to gently slip away as we focus on that which truly nourishes us.
